Alena's heart was in turmoil long after she heard the story. "Mr. Ronnie is truly great; it turns out he founded the city-state." Just then, Nicola ran over in a hurry. "Come and see this, quickly."
A group of people gathered in front of the TV. Daechir was holding a gun to the head of a television station editor. "Alice, I hope you come out soon, or many things you don't want to see will happen. Remember what I told you." As soon as she finished speaking, there was a "bang!" The editor's head blossomed. Amidst the crowd's screams, Daechir turned and ran, then jumped out of a window.
"That building looks very high. Did she commit suicide?" Uwa asked. "Probably not," De Silva replied. Alice slumped into a chair, muttering, "It seems I should go see her."
"Auntie, you can't go! Do you want to be locked up again?"
"Perhaps that's where we belong."
"No, I'll never go back!" Vega shouted. Most of the others also advised Alice not to go back. De Silva, however, frowned deeply. He strongly agreed with Daechir's idea that Alice and Vega must go back instead of wandering around outside, as this could potentially alter history. Just as Alice was about to speak, the TV screen changed. Daechir, wearing a parachute, had just landed on the ground when she was surrounded by over a hundred police officers. A loudspeaker blared, "Crazy desperado, you are surrounded! Drop your weapon immediately, or we will open fire!" Daechir's eyebrows furrowed slightly as she slowly stood up. The police knew she was dangerous. "Don't move! Put your hands up!" Daechir smiled and asked, "And what if I don't do as you say?"
"I'll count to three. Please drop your weapon immediately." When the count reached two, Daechir flashed into the crowd, knocked down three police officers in an extremely short time, and snatched a car. She started the engine and sped forward. "Bang, bang, bang!" The car body was instantly hit by hundreds of bullets, and the tires were shot out. Daechir ignored all this, driving recklessly. Her back and chest were already covered in wounds, and crimson liquid seeped from her snow-white skin.
"Why won't this girl die?" a police officer asked his colleague.
"Get in the car and chase her!"
The television station was broadcasting live from a helicopter. The lead car, like a madman, didn't avoid anything on the road, charging straight ahead. Many people who were too slow to dodge were killed on the spot. More than a dozen cars pursued it relentlessly. Alice couldn't bear to watch anymore. She said to De Silva, "Find a way to inform Daechir that I want to see her."
Vega also gave up hope, feeling that if this continued, she would become a sinner. Daechir was pursued until late at night before she finally escaped. She collapsed in a dark and quiet alley. Near dawn, a girl walked over, carried her on her back, and disappeared into the night. Uwa and the other two, having not joined the city-state, left the next day. They lived with Afastin in the small town of "Taco" across from Zi City. De Silva was still unable to contact Daechir. Vega's mindset slowly changed; she hoped never to find this woman.
By November, Afastin and Eve had joined the city-state. Daechir was now chained to a wall by five thick iron chains around her limbs and neck. This was a secret room, very small, with only a dim light. She had been there for nearly two months. Her wounds had not been treated, and the fluid oozing from them had turned black. Just then, the small door of the secret room opened, and a girl walked in. Daechir looked up at her and asked, "Number Two, how long do you plan to keep me locked up?"
"Don't be anxious. I've brought someone for you today." The next moment, she called out the door, "Number Three, come in." Number Three walked in with his head down, looking very scared. Daechir looked at him coldly. "What? You betrayed me too." Number Two walked over to comfort him, "Don't be afraid. I've caught her. She can't do anything to us." Daechir suddenly shouted, "Number Three, release me quickly! I'll give you freedom."
"Really?"
"When have I ever lied to you?"
Seeing the two of them talking, with Daechir completely ignoring her, Number Two said angrily, "I really should have killed you sooner." She pulled out a knife and stepped forward to stab. Daechir let out a soft cry, her beautiful eyes tightly closed, a look of pain on her face. The stab was too deep. Number Two, becoming more ruthless, slashed at her face with a second stroke. "Ah!" This time, it wasn't because of the pain, but because she felt her face had been scratched. As Number Two swung for a third time, Number Three hugged her from behind. "Please, don't do it anymore. She is our master."
"Number Three, are you crazy? Let me go!" Daechir was still distressed about her beautiful face. Seeing the two of them in conflict, she said to Number Three, "Press the top of her head for seven seconds, and it will immobilize her."
"No, I don't want to do that," Number Three refused. "Then tie her up and release me." Number Two cried out urgently, "Number Three, don't listen to her! If she gets free, it will be our doom!" Number Three was in a terrible dilemma, wanting to just walk away and ignore everything. He was a peace-loving robot and didn't want to harm anyone. The three of them remained in a stalemate. Just then, a voice sounded from outside the door, "Buddha, you are truly great! You even found such a remote place." After a moment, a robotic voice said, "Beyondbear, smash this door open for me." Hearing this voice, Daechir exclaimed joyfully, "Little Ronnie, I'm in here!"
"Number Three, release me quickly! Someone is trying to get in from outside!" Number Two shouted several times but was still held tightly. With a "clang," the door opened, and a small dog rushed in, biting Number Three's leg. Daechir saw this and shouted, "You stupid dog, bite that girl!"
"Buddha, this room is too small, I can't get in."
"Then just wait outside." Little Ronnie walked into the secret room, cocking his leg. He looked at Daechir and said, "Why are you in such a mess? You really disappoint me."
"Cut the crap and untie these chains for me."
"They're so thick, I can't even lift them."
"Then call the tall guy outside to come in." Little Ronnie rolled his eyes upon hearing this. "No wonder you're being tortured like this. He can't get in precisely because he's too tall." Daechir said angrily, "You idiot! What do you suggest we do?"
"Blockhead, try to see if you can bite through this iron chain." The dog barked, "Woof!" and ran over to try. Five minutes passed, and the chain was still intact. Little Ronnie glanced up at Number Two and Number Three and asked, "Are these two your robots?"
"Yes," Daechir replied. "Why don't you have them untie you?"
"These two betrayed me."
"Then destroy them." As Little Ronnie spoke, he pulled a gun from his pocket. "This is my latest invention, specifically designed to deal with stubborn robots."
"Wait, just get rid of the girl. The male one is still useful to me," Daechir said. Little Ronnie smiled and asked, "What? You've taken a fancy to him?"
"You're really talkative."
With a "hiss," Number Two slowly collapsed. Number Three released his grip and asked, "Is she dead?"
"Don't worry, her body is still useful. I'll modify her into an obedient robot." Number Three went over to untie Daechir's chains. Little Ronnie pointed at Number Two again and said to him, "Take this girl with you."
